  • Customer Story: Outdated Plugins

We recently been hired by a client to give their site a facelift and make it more mobile friendly. After logging in to their website’s backend, we found that many of their plugins haven’t been updated in years. (Their theme, for example, hasn’t been updated since 2013… a decade ago!)

It’s genuinely surprising they haven’t been hacked. (About 13,000 sites are hacked every day and most of those are the result of running outdated plugins and themes.)

If you’re doing business online and not doing basic hygiene on your site, it’s like you’re closing up shop and heading home each night but leaving the doors unlocked.

Invest in some website hygiene now so you’re not frantically trying to bring your hacked site back online later.

Need help or advice? We’re here.

All the best!
